IKE Update

We got a little tired of being hot and eating cheetos, so we decided to head to Dallas yesterday. We are now safe, happy, cool & well fed in Dallas. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers, we will be heading home as soon as we have power.

IKE

IKE is coming, but we are ready! We have plenty of food, water, batteries, candles and entertainment. We have everything ready, and now we are just watching the clouds roll in. We are very grateful that we are so far from the coast, and our thoughts and prayers are those families that have evacuated.

We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond this weekend!

We actually enjoyed it. It took much longer than we thought it would...we decided to wait on the bedroom stuff. We made such a great team - I pointed and Jeff was a pro at the scanner!

I don't think it's fair you only get to do this once!

Summer Party 2008

We just returned from Summer Party 2008!

There is no way to describe how much fun we had! Erin & Rickey were gracious enough to host all of us; thank y'all again! We spent a beautiful weekend in Rockport. We swam, took boat rides, and ate and drank to our hearts content. We also enjoyed quite an interesting bar...that we rode a short bus to! It was so wonderful to get to spend time with all of the most special girls ever, and to get to know all of their boyfriends better. We can't wait to do it again!!!

Fun Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend in Dallas with my parents!

The girls went shopping for my Mom's dress for the wedding, and the bridesmaid dresses. We had so much fun, and accomplished a lot!

Bridal Extravaganza!

I think we are missing out by not getting into the wedding industry - it's huge! We saw so many beautiful things - flowers, linens, crystals, cakes...it was amazing! We got lots of vendor information, so we have our work cut out for us now!

I think I have the most wonderful parents ever!

They drove all the way to Houston just to come to the Bridal Extravaganza with me. My Dad was so great...and I think he learned a lot. He is going to be the best Daddy of the bride that ever was.

Jeff came and met us at Nino's afterwards (he had no interest in the bridal show..haha!) and we had a wonderful dinner with my parents dearest friends.

Wonderful Weekend!

We had such a wonderful weekend!

We spent 5 great days in Dallas with our family. My Grandmother and my Aunt flew in from Alabama to celebrate my Mom's birthday, and to help me find my wedding dress!

Mom's birthday celebration was at the Glass Cactus, and everyone had so much fun! We enjoyed great friends, a beautiful sunset, and danced the night away!

We also found the perfect wedding dress...after trying on what seemed like hundreds!

We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family!
