I am SO proud of my little sister! She graduated from UNT last weekend - as a Math major. Guess we know who got the brains in our family...haha! She also already has a job, teaching math at NCTC, a community college in the North Dallas area. She went in for her first interview the day before graduation, and they offered her the job on the spot! They are lucky to have her! Valerie has grown into such a beautiful, thoughtful, successful young woman, and I am proud to call her my sister. Thank you Val, for letting Jeff and I be a part of your graduation weekend!

Cowboys Game!
Jeff and I were lucky enough to go to the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving! Daddy got us tickets, so we spent the afternoon with him & Val. It was so much fun. We had not been to the new stadium yet, so we were so excited to see it! It is amazing - it was an experience. Both upper ends of the end zone are standing room only, and they have miller light girls dancing on platforms, like in a dance club or something. It was pretty amazing. The club level felt more like a swanky lounge than a football stadium, but it was really nice.

Mom's Birthday Weekend
Jeff and I spent the past weekend in Dallas celebrating my Mom's birthday. We had such a great time!
Friday night we went to Patrizo's and had amazing Italian food. We spent Saturday on Lake Lewisville on the boat, and Valerie joined us at Sneeky Pete's for lunch and some good ole' lake floating. I didn't realize that Jeff had never done a lake day with my family before. It is one of my top 5 favorite things to do; I just love being on the water.
Happy Late Birthday Mom!
